Semister 1 includes : Duration: 3 Months

- Introduction to Computer parts and peripherals
- The working of Motherboard, Southbridge,Processor, RAM , harddisks ( SATA , PATA )
- System Boot process, system bus, I/O busses, ISA bus, RAM SDRAM DDR DDR2 DDR3, Chip sets
- CPU - Types of CPU's, CPU improvements, Over clocking the CPU's
- The working of Hard drives (SATA-PATA), Optic storage media (CD / DVD Rom - writers), MO and ZIP drives, Tape streamers
- 3D Graphics card AGP, USB, EIDE, Ultra DMA,SCSI, FireWire
- Projects & Assignments: The Working of various computer components
Semister 1 Online Exam (130 Marks)
Semister 2 includes :
- Computer Assembling ( Building a computer from spares)
- Installing Motherboard, Processor, Hardisks, Ram , Sound card, DVD drive in the PC Cabinet.
- Installing the Powerbox SMPS in the PC Cabinet
- Wiring and cabling of Harddisk, DVD, Floppy drive and other components.
- Connecting Monitor, Printer, Keyboard, Mouse
- Formating Harddisk and creating partition
- Installing Windows and Linux Operating systems
- PC Troubleshooting and Repair, Software & driver installation
- Installing and configuring NETWORK.
- Troubleshooting problems in Microsoft Windows (98,XP)
- DATA RECOVERY, Hard disk repairing.
- Projects & Assignments: Demonstration of Buidling a PC from computer spares, Detecting and repairing PC problems
Semister 2 Online Exam (130 Marks)
Business prospective:
- The Diploma in Computer Hardware and maintenance Certification will enable user to undertake AMC annual maintenance contracts professionally and build assemble and repair pc.
- Starting your own computer business of sales & repair.
